Thai Binh province education sector propagates and disseminates administrative unit arrangement

Currently, the province has 745educational institutions with 22,892 managers, teachers and staff working at public educational institutions. Recently, this force has been quite worried about the information about the abolition of district and city levels and the merger of provinces, which has more or less impacted and affected their current work and life.

Only reviewing and determining the contents of state management of education, currently the district level is implementing to adjust and transfer to the provincial level (Department of Education and Training) or the People's Committee of the commune for management.

In addition, administrative activities related to education must be carried out normally, smoothly, without interruption, and without affecting the normal activities of society, people, and businesses.

During the implementation process at the local level, ensure synchronization with administrative reform, public finance and digital transformation, aiming to reduce intermediary units; avoid gaps, overlaps or dispersion of management tasks, especially in key areas such as: Professional guidance, program content, team management, finance, facilities, inspection and examination.

Education management officials in Thai Binh province grasped and absorbed the contents disseminated and thoroughly understood at the conference.

In the coming time, the education sector will maintain the educational public service units and transfer to the commune-level authorities the function of state management of education for secondary schools, primary schools, and kindergartens according to Conclusion No. 137-KL/TW dated March 28, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the Project to rearrange and reorganize administrative units at all levels and build a 2-level local government organization model.

At present, the Department of Education and Training requests that all cadres, teachers and employees of the whole sector work with peace of mind; focus on improving the quality of teaching and learning in schools. The Department's leaders continue to record and listen to opinions and issues arising in practice to promptly resolve them. For issues beyond their authority, they will report to superiors for thorough resolution to ensure smooth educational activities in the area.
