During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind.

From the morning of December 3, the Gulf of Tonkin has strong northeast winds up to level 6, sometimes level 7, gusting to level 8, waves 2.0-4.0m high, rough seas.

It is forecasted that from the afternoon of December 3, the sea area from South Quang Tri to Hue city and the sea area north of the central East Sea will have northeast winds gradually increasing to level 6, gusting to level 7-8, waves 3.0-5.0m high, rough seas.

Risk of natural disasters at sea is warned at level 2. Particularly in the Northwest, the area between the East Sea and the sea off Gia Lai - Dak Lak is at level 3. All ships operating in the above areas are at high risk of being affected by strong winds and big waves.

Coastal areas from Da Nang to Khanh Hoa need to be on guard against high tides combined with big waves, causing dike overflow, coastal road flooding, and coastal erosion - the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warns.

Early this morning, the area from Quang Tri to Da Nang city and the East of Quang Ngai to Dak Lak will have scattered rain and showers. From the night of December 2 to December 3, the area from Hue, Da Nang, the East of Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa will have moderate rain, heavy rain, and locally very heavy rain, with rainfall of 40-100mm, locally >150mm.

On the night of December 3, from Quang Tri to Da Nang, the East of Quang Ngai will have moderate rain, heavy rain, and locally very heavy rain, rainfall of 20-40mm, locally >70mm. Risk of heavy rain >100mm/3 hours.

Warning, during the day and night of December 4, the area from Quang Tri to Da Nang and the East of Quang Ngai will have moderate rain, heavy rain, and locally very heavy rain, with rainfall of 30-70mm, locally >120mm. Moderate rain and heavy rain are likely to last until December 5.
