This activity belongs to Sub-project 3 of Project 5 (National target program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas), aiming to provide practical information to help students orient their studies and careers.

According to statistics, in recent years, Sa Pa has recorded many important developments: the poverty rate has decreased from 50.7% in 2015 to about 13% in 2025; in 2024 alone, the locality will welcome nearly 4.2 million visitors, with tourism revenue reaching over VND20,000 billion, accounting for 59% of the budget revenue.

Students refer to career guidance documents at the conference.

This result is contributed by the work of career guidance and job introduction focused on the area. Tourism service businesses in Sa Pa currently employ nearly 70% of local workers, of which more than 40% are ethnic minorities. Prioritizing the recruitment and training of local workers contributes to creating stable jobs, improving living standards and preserving cultural identity.

The strong development of tourism and a diverse network of businesses also opens up many internship and job opportunities for students in technical, operational, customer service, restaurant and hotel positions. With a large demand for human resources during peak seasons, businesses want to recruit and develop young local human resources, helping students have stable jobs and promotion opportunities.
