First day of restricting vehicles over 16 seats from entering Hanoi's Old Quarter

Today (March 1), the first day Hanoi implemented a plan to separate traffic and limit cars with more than 16 seats by hour in the Old Quarter and around Hoan Kiem Lake.


The Old Quarter area includes Dinh Tien Hoang Street (from Hang Dau to Hang Dao), Hang Dao, Hang Ngang, Hang Duong, Dong Xuan, Hang Giay, Hang Dau, Tran Nhat Duat (from Hang Dau to Nguyen Huu Huan), Nguyen Huu Huan and neighboring streets. The area around Hoan Kiem Lake includes: Quang Trung Street (Trang Thi - Nha Chung section), Nha Chung, Ly Quoc Su, Nha Tho, Hang Trong, Au Trieu, Bao Khanh, Hang Hanh alley. Vehicles with more than 16 seats are also not allowed to stop or park during rush hour on the streets surrounding the restricted area.
