Marine Environment Festival "Green Danang - Clean Sea"

(Fatherland) - The marine environment festival "Green Danang - Clean Sea" aims to promote and raise public awareness about reducing plastic waste, protecting marine ecosystems and encouraging the use of environmentally friendly products.

In order to raise public awareness in environmental protection, on March 25-26, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches (Da Nang Department of Tourism) coordinated with relevant units to organize the Marine Environment Festival with the theme "Green Da Nang - Clean Sea".

The Marine Environment Festival with the theme “Green Danang - Clean Sea” took place in the Coconut Garden area north of East Sea Park, Son Tra District, Da Nang.

Hundreds of students and volunteer clubs that love the environment will participate in the festival. During the two days of March 25-26, the festival will have activities to raise awareness, actively change community habits in protecting the environment, say no to plastic waste and nylon bags, encourage the use of environmentally friendly products by people, domestic and international tourists when visiting, playing and entertaining at Da Nang tourist beaches.

At the same time, connect, meet and exchange experiences on models, initiatives and practical actions to effectively solve environmental protection work between management agencies and localities, businesses, clubs and groups in the city such as: organizing the "Refill - Refill" model, displaying paintings on the theme of the ocean environment in installation art, random dance, competition to build ideas about green cities in the future,...

The event attracted hundreds of students and volunteer clubs to participate in many diverse activities, aiming to promote and raise public awareness about reducing plastic waste, protecting marine ecosystems and encouraging the use of environmentally friendly products.

Main activities include: Freestyle Dance to kick off the program with more than 150 students; Exhibition of self-drawn paintings in installation art with the theme "I love Da Nang city", propaganda on environmental protection, harmful effects of microplastics on the ocean environment;

Organize the model "Exchange trash for trees", exchange waste for environmentally friendly products such as glass bottles, cloth bags, trees, encourage the use or refilling of consumer products instead of buying new ones...;

Organizing a competition to build startup ideas with the theme "Green city model of the future" recreated by students using recycled materials from waste. Team building activities on the beach to learn about the topic of marine environment…/.
