The Code of Conduct consists of 3 chapters and 10 articles, applicable to cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the heritage sector nationwide. The content covers all conduct in professional work, relationships with colleagues, the community, in the media, social networks and in other social activities.
A notable point in the rules is the regulation that museum workers are not allowed to broker, directly or indirectly participate in the trading, transporting, or supporting the illegal transport of relics, antiquities, national treasures, and natural heritage. Workers are also not allowed to buy, sell, collect, trade, or exchange antiquities of illegal origin, or take advantage of their collecting duties to buy or advise others to buy and sell artifacts that are subject to public museum collections. All information related to the purchase and sale of artifacts may only be disclosed with the written consent of a competent authority.

The rules also set high requirements for professional ethics such as: not accepting gifts, not taking advantage of position for personal gain, not disclosing information about artifacts without permission, and not harming the interests and image of the museum...
