Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh and Dinh Anh Hoang crowned National Excellent Table Tennis Players 2025

In the women's singles, the final match was between Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh (HCMC) and Tran Mai Ngoc (T&T People's Police).

With more courage and experience, Dieu Khanh proactively played offensively, continuously launching tricky passes that left the opponent with almost no chance to counterattack.

It didn't take long for Dieu Khanh to assert her superiority, winning overwhelmingly 4-0 with scores of 11-6, 11-5, 11-5 and 11-4, thereby officially changing the color of her medal after missing out on the championship title last year.

This victory not only helped Dieu Khanh win the most prestigious tournament of the year in Vietnamese table tennis for the first time, but also helped Ho Chi Minh City women's table tennis continue to maintain its leading position on the domestic map.

In the men's singles, Hai Phong fans witnessed the confrontation between "the son of Hai Phong" Nguyen Duc Tuan and Dinh Anh Hoang (CAND T&T), two players who were teammates in the national team.

In a day of great competition, Anh Hoang showed impressive form and an all-around attacking style. The player of CAND T&T entered the match strongly, winning 11-5 in the first set.

The excitement continued in the following games when Dinh Anh Hoang took full advantage of his opponent's errors to win the next 3 games and ended the match with a final score of 4-0 (11-5, 13-11, 11-5, 11-8), thereby stepping up to the worthy championship title.

This is the second time in 2025 that Anh Hoang has surpassed Nguyen Duc Tuan in the final, after the first time at the National Table Tennis Tournament for Strong Teams.

The 2025 National Table Tennis Tournament for Outstanding Players is organized by the Vietnam Sports Administration in collaboration with the Hai Phong Department of Culture and Sports, gathering the top players in the country. The tournament is not only the pinnacle of the national competition system for the year, but also an important basis for selecting players for the national team.

Immediately after the tournament ends, the Vietnamese table tennis team will regroup with 10 athletes (5 men, 5 women), aiming to win at least 1 gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games.
