Affordable housing has been officially focused on by Nam Long since 2008 with the EHome 1 project (EHome East Saigon). At a time when real estate prices increased by an average of 300%, and apartment prices could increase by more than 29 million VND after each sale, Nam Long chose to announce EHome 1 apartments with a unit price of only about 10 million VND/m².

Since then, whether the market is booming or "hibernating", Nam Long has meticulously researched and learned low-cost housing models from many countries to develop affordable housing that meets the expectations of the majority of Vietnamese people. More than 5,000 EHome apartments in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong , and Long An have been completed, becoming a peaceful place to live for thousands of families who once thought that the dream of "owning a house" would remain unfulfilled.

The fourth quarter of 2023 is considered an important stepping stone for the market to transform next year and affordable housing is an important driving force because the demand for this product is always high, suitable for people's ability to pay.

In the fourth quarter of 2023, Nam Long introduced more than 500 EHome Southgate apartments priced from only 1 billion VND/51m2 apartment. To make housing easier to own and more affordable, the investor continuously designs comprehensive and practical financial solutions, accompanying home buyers and joining hands with the market to develop in a balanced manner.

Specifically, customers who buy EHome Southgate at this time only need to pay 30%, divided into 5 installments until receiving the house. The bank lends 65% of the product value, disburses the corresponding amount from the 3rd installment, enjoys a fixed interest rate of 3.1%/year for 24 months, and a 24-month principal grace period. This means that with only an initial capital of 200 million VND, customers can own a 51m² apartment designed with 2 bedrooms, and only need to pay about 2 million VND per month. This budget is much lower than the current rental cost and is completely within the affordability of the majority of middle-income families.
