People of Go Noi area celebrate Hung King's death anniversary

The ceremony took place at the Temple of the Hung Kings and President Ho Chi Minh in Trung Giang village (Dien Trung commune). The program included a proclamation ceremony and offering of gifts.

From early morning, people gathered at the temple to prepare trays of banh chung, banh giay with incense, flowers, fruit trays and respectful offerings to the Hung Kings. Delegations respectfully offered incense to express gratitude to the Hung Kings, President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs.

The death anniversary is held annually by the people of 3 communes in Go Noi area on the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month. Although it is just a memorial service, the National Ancestor Temple in Trung Giang village has become an indispensable part of the local people's consciousness and is a symbol of gratitude and turning to their roots.
