Recently, the prolonged heatwave in Ha Tinh, with temperatures sometimes reaching 40 degrees Celsius, has made the already difficult lives of poor laborers even harder. In the photo, the sweltering heat has made Phan Dinh Phung street (Ha Tinh City) unusually deserted.

Despite the scorching heat in Ha Tinh, many poor laborers still choose to endure the sweltering sun and perform strenuous work to earn a living. According to the Ha Tinh Meteorological and Hydrological Station, temperatures here have fluctuated between 29 and 38 degrees Celsius in recent days, with an average humidity of 68-70%.

Around noon, under the scorching heat, the woman still rode her bicycle to collect scrap metal to make a living.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan (55 years old, residing in Thach Hung commune, Ha Tinh city) said: "These days the hot weather has lasted for a long time, making my work more difficult. However, because I need to make a living and support my children's education, I try my best."

Ms. Tran Thi Huyen (32 years old, from Hau Loc commune, Loc Ha district) finds a cool place to rest and counts the money she has earned from selling her goods.

Ms. Bui Thi Manh (55 years old, residing in Hue ) said: "I've been selling tea on the streets of Ha Tinh City for nearly 20 years. These days, the hot weather has helped me sell more than 100 cups of tea a day (2-3 times higher than usual), selling from 8 am to 12 pm until everything is sold out. Although it's hard work, the high income makes me very happy."

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quynh (66 years old, residing in Ha Tinh City) had to cover his head with a wet towel to shield himself from the scorching summer sun.

Mr. Hung's life becomes more difficult when the hot season arrives.

Around noon, on many streets in Ha Tinh City, delivery people still have to brave the sun to make a living.
