This is the result of a survey recently published by the Vietnamese online job platform (vieclam24h) in its report on the labor market situation in the first two months of 2025. The vieclam24h report notes positive signs compared to the same period in 2024, with a 19% increase in job recruitment demand in the first two months of 2025. This indicates a developing market trend, expanding production and business, and increasing staffing levels by enterprises.

The increase in recruitment demand shows that confidence in growth has somewhat returned, but challenges in balancing supply and demand remain, especially in industries requiring highly skilled labor. According to assessments, the increase in business recruitment has not kept pace with the labor supply, particularly as job seeker demand is not evenly distributed across industries. According to Vieclam24h, although the labor market is on the path to recovery, supply-demand challenges still exist, especially in industries experiencing strong recruitment growth.
Typically, the manufacturing industry recorded a 41% increase in recruitment compared to the same period in 2024, but is facing difficulties in finding skilled workers. Within this sector, textiles, footwear, and fashion saw a 7% increase in recruitment demand, but the number of job seekers decreased by 18%.
