According to statistics from Tuoi Tre Online , there are many cases where candidates with university entrance exam scores of 24 points or higher in their chosen subject combination failed the high school graduation exam due to failing grades.

A number of other candidates received failing grades despite having very high test scores. This means that these candidates are officially disqualified from the list of admitted students through early admission methods of universities (if any).
Tuổi Trẻ Online has compiled statistics showing that high school students took all three subjects—mathematics, literature, and a foreign language—and one combined subject test, excluding independent candidates.
In particular, one candidate in Hanoi scored 25.75 in the Literature-History-Geography subject combination for university entrance exams, but only 1 point in the foreign language subject. Therefore, if this candidate were a high school student, they would have failed the high school graduation exam this year.

Similarly, another candidate in Hanoi also had a combined score of 25.75 in Literature - History - Geography but a score of 1 in Foreign Language.
A candidate from Hai Duong province scored 25.75 in the Literature-Geography-Civics subject combination for university entrance exams, but only scored 1 point in the foreign language. Candidates with failing grades not only fail the high school graduation exam but are also officially eliminated from this year's university admissions race.
It's regrettable that not only students from the social sciences but also many students from the natural sciences received failing grades.
Notably, a candidate in Hai Phong achieved a combined score of 26.4 in mathematics, biology, and English but failed the physics exam in the natural science test.

Another candidate in Nghe An province scored 24.8 in the combined math-physics-chemistry exam but failed biology. Meanwhile, a significant number of candidates with combined scores of 21-22 received failing grades.
English has the highest number of failing grades.
In this year's high school graduation exam, English once again caused many students to fail. It was the subject with the highest number of failing grades, with 145 students scoring 1 or below and 14 students scoring 0.
The surprising thing this year is that geography has a very high number of failing grades.
Civics education is the subject with the fewest failing grades. Even so, there were 33 candidates who scored below 1 in Civics education, and 32 candidates who scored 0.
