Female student forced to kneel, beaten repeatedly, and verbally abused by classmates in the middle of the classroom.

On the afternoon of October 13th, the Bao Loc City Police ( Lam Dong province) announced that they have launched an investigation in coordination with relevant units to clarify and handle the case of an 8th-grade female student in the area who was forced to kneel and beaten by her classmates, with the incident being filmed and posted on social media.

According to the video, a female student is kneeling in the classroom surrounded by many classmates, both male and female. Several female voices are hurling insults, while others slap, pull her hair, and even throw plastic chairs at her head. What's even more disturbing is that many other students (including male) stand around "cheering" and some are even filming with their mobile phones without intervening. Meanwhile, the kneeling student can only cry and apologize.

Female student kneels to "endure the punishment"

According to verification by the authorities, the incident took place at Phan Boi Chau Secondary School (Loc Chau commune, Bao Loc city).

Accordingly, at approximately 8:35 AM on October 11th (during recess), a fight broke out in an 8th grade class at Phan Boi Chau Secondary School due to a personal conflict.

The student who was beaten is LQN. A few days prior, N. had a personal conflict with NMH (a female student in the same class).

Many classmates stood around "cheering" as the student was being beaten instead of intervening.

Immediately after learning about the incident, at around 9:00 AM that same day, the homeroom teacher invited all the students and their parents involved in the fight to the school for a meeting (including student N. and 5 other students who participated in the fight), to write statements, and to provide analysis, education , and warnings. Parents from both sides agreed to a reconciliation and promised to cooperate with the school in educating their children.

At the same time, the school also verified that 4 students participated in filming the clips, and the clips have been deleted. However, one student admitted to sharing the clips with two other friends. The school requested this student to contact the friends who received the clips and delete and remove all posted clips…

Currently, the school administration of Phan Boi Chau Secondary School, along with the homeroom teacher, has agreed to establish a disciplinary committee to handle the students involved in the incident where a female student was forced to kneel and beaten.
