The multi-talented female student
Dinh Thi Diem Quynh (born in 2003, Cam Due commune), a student majoring in Multimedia Communication at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, recently graduated with a GPA of 3.81/4, ranking among the top students in her field. Recently, Diem Quynh also excelled, winning first prize in the "Young Leaders in the Digital Age" program organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology . This short-term training program involved 50 outstanding students from various disciplines at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology – individuals who stand out for their academic achievements, personal development, and aspiration to develop sustainable leadership skills in the context of digital transformation.
Dinh Thi Diem Quynh speaks at the program "Young Leaders in the Digital Age".With the goal of spreading educational innovation and improving the quality of STEM education in Vietnam, Diễm Quỳnh's "Al-First on STEM Education" project is considered practical and highly applicable in teaching.
Diem Quynh shared: "This is my first time building a startup project, the topic stemming from my own learning needs. The process of implementing the project has helped me learn more professional knowledge in three fields: technology, business, and marketing. Currently, the project is being nurtured and planned for implementation."
At the awards ceremony held in early July, the girl from Ha Tinh province represented over 50 students who received the award and gave a speech. For Quynh, this was a great honor and a beautiful memory that marked the end of her student life.
It is known that Diễm Quỳnh's original dream was not to become a communications student but a female police officer. However, due to changes in exam requirements, Diễm Quỳnh decided to "change course" to the communications field. Being dynamic and frequently participating in extracurricular activities, and acting as an MC for school programs, Diễm Quỳnh realized she had a talent for communications – a field where she could develop her communication skills, be creative, and connect with people.

Recalling the day she received her exam results, the former student of Cam Binh High School said she was overjoyed to learn that she had been accepted into the communications major with a score far exceeding her expectations. In the beginning, after starting university, she felt "lost" as she had to begin her life studying and working alone in a new city without knowing any fellow students from her hometown. Her language barriers also presented certain challenges.
Diem Quynh shared: “My hometown accent can be difficult to understand for people from other regions. But I don't feel insecure about it; on the contrary, I'm very proud of this unique characteristic. I'm also working on improving my pronunciation to help me seize opportunities to become a presenter for many important school events.”

Overcoming initial difficulties, during her time studying at the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, Diem Quynh became known as an outstanding MC, loved and trusted by her friends, teachers, and colleagues.
The principle of " smart learning - selective activity "
To balance effective studying with extracurricular activities, Diem Quynh always sets for herself the principle of "study smart - participate selectively".

Diem Quynh shared: “In class, I prioritize focusing on listening to lectures, taking notes on the main points, and reviewing them against the textbook I've read beforehand. This saves me time on self-study and prevents me from being overwhelmed with information. Before each semester, I set target grades for each subject to develop a suitable study strategy, avoiding excessive pressure while still maintaining a high GPA.”
Besides individual learning methods, Quynh also placed special emphasis on teamwork skills. Marketing and design assignments helped her develop the ability to coordinate, respect diversity, and harmonize the strengths of each team member.
"Each student brings their own unique style, but that's also how I learned to select and combine elements harmoniously to create the best possible product. Furthermore, group work creates healthy competition, making everyone more enthusiastic about learning," Diễm Quỳnh said.

In her involvement with the Youth Union and Student Association, Diem Quynh chooses programs that align with her strengths and personal development goals. Her proactive time management and ability to prioritize important tasks have helped her maintain top academic performance while accumulating many meaningful experiences.

Master Nguyen Dinh Son, Quynh's academic advisor, assessed the female student as an outstanding student in all fields.
In terms of knowledge, Quynh is diligent, focused, and intelligent, always approaching problems in a thorough, non-mechanical way. As a Youth Union officer, Quynh is quick-witted, enthusiastic, and skillful, earning recognition from many teachers. She is also enthusiastic in extracurricular activities and is an exemplary young Party member, leading the way.
"I am very proud of her. When I assign her tasks, I have great confidence in her, and she always completes them better than what the teachers require," Mr. Son said.
Currently, Diem Quynh is juggling multiple jobs, including hosting events, working in social media for a media company, and participating in a technology startup program in Hanoi. In the long term, she plans to pursue postgraduate studies and work in the field of teaching.
