According to information from the People's Committee of Vu Quang district, the water level of Ngan Sau river measured at Hoa Duyet station at 7:00 am this morning was 9.38m (0.38m above alert level II), causing some communes in the lower district such as Duc Giang, Duc Linh, Duc Bong... to be partially flooded, some roads and residential areas were completely isolated. Mr. Nguyen Minh Vinh - Party Secretary, Chairman of Duc Giang Commune People's Committee said: "Heavy rain in recent days has caused deep flooding in Village 1 - Bong Giang, Village 3 - Bong Giang, many roads are isolated. Currently, the local government has deployed forces to monitor regularly, put up warning signs in deeply flooded areas so that people can proactively avoid them. In addition, the locality has also developed a plan to evacuate people in case of emergency".

In Duc Linh commune, the rapid rise of the Ngan Sau river also caused deep flooding in Cua Linh and My Ngoc villages, completely isolating the village's main school routes.

According to the leader of Duc Linh commune, heavy rains in the area are continuing, so the water level of Ngan Sau river is forecast to continue to rise. Therefore, flooding will continue to occur. Heavy rains in recent days have caused landslides and deep flooding in many areas, obstructing traffic. Currently, the District Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue has requested localities, departments and agencies to continue monitoring weather developments, promptly repair landslides, and place warning signs of deep flooding to ensure safety for people traveling.
