Accordingly, the Session will take place for 3 days, from December 7 to 9, 2025 at the Provincial Convention and Cultural Center. The Session will review and approve reports and draft resolutions submitted at the Session; question and consider the answers to questions; decide on other issues within the tasks and powers of the Provincial People's Council.

The meeting will approve 17 reports of the Provincial People's Committee; 6 reports of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and Committees of the Provincial People's Council. In addition, it is expected to consider and approve 20 draft Resolutions, of which the Provincial People's Committee will submit 19 draft Resolutions, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council will submit 1 draft Resolution (excluding Resolutions on personnel work). Some Resolutions submitted by the Provincial People's Committee include: Resolution on supplementing funding to implement regimes, policies, arising tasks and the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in 2025; Resolution stipulating principles, criteria and norms for allocating regular expenditure estimates of the local budget in 2026 in Lai Chau province; Resolution stipulating principles, criteria and norms for allocating public investment capital from the local budget for the period 2026 - 2030 in Lai Chau province...

At the session, the Provincial People's Council will also consider electing additional positions under its authority and dismissing some retired delegates who have submitted their resignation applications.
