The Southwestern Teacher Training College, from its inception to the completion of its historical mission, existed for only 14 years (1961-1975). During this period, the school opened 14 training courses for education officials and teachers, producing over 600 provincial and district education officials, hundreds of primary school teachers, and approximately 150 secondary school teachers. From this school, these education officials and teachers dispersed to various provinces, joining the armed forces and serving the people to carry out educational tasks.

For 14 years, many teachers and education staff bravely stayed at their schools amidst bombings, and not a few heroically sacrificed their lives at a young age.

After the victory, they continued to study, work, and contribute to the country. Some held leadership roles at the central and local levels; some continued their education careers, becoming People's Teachers, Meritorious Teachers, etc.
