On August 26, at the 8th Extraordinary Session, the 15th National Assembly carried out the process of approving the Prime Minister's proposal on the appointment of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment for the 2021-2026 term.
Mr. Do Duc Duy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee was introduced to the National Assembly for approval to hold the position of Minister of Natural Resources and Environment.
The National Assembly approved the Prime Minister's proposal to appoint the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment by secret ballot.
Next, the National Assembly voted to pass the Resolution approving Mr. Do Duc Duy to hold the position of Minister of Natural Resources and Environment for the 2021-2026 term with 426/426 delegates participating in the vote in favor (accounting for 88.57% of the total number of National Assembly delegates).
Mr. Do Duc Duy was born in 1970; Hometown: Thuy Van Commune, Thai Thuy District, Thai Binh Province. Mr. Do Duc Duy - Member of the 13th Party Central Committee, has a Master's degree in Construction, has held positions such as: Deputy Minister of Construction, Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee.
