Mr. Tran Huy Tuan was appointed Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee.

(Dan Tri) - Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee, was elected by the Provincial People's Council to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, with 100% of the votes.

On the afternoon of November 12, the People's Council of Ninh Binh province held its fifth session, term XV, term 2021-2026. At the session, delegates elected the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province for the term 2021-2026.

With 100% of votes, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Tran Huy Tuan was born in 1974, from Lao Cai province, has a degree in Advanced Political Theory; Hydraulic Engineer, Bachelor of Political Economy, Master of Natural Resources and Environmental Economics.

Before becoming Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province, Mr. Tuan was Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province (after the merger of Yen Bai and Lao Cai provinces).

On the morning of November 12, the Central Party Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Central Party Secretariat on Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province, ceasing to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and ceasing to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

The Secretariat's decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Tran Huy Tuan to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

In his acceptance speech, the new Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee expressed his deep gratitude to the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat, and the Central Organizing Committee for their attention and trust in assigning him the task.

With the assigned responsibility, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan promised to continuously learn and inherit the achievements and valuable experiences of previous leaders; devote all his abilities, intelligence, enthusiasm, join efforts and unanimity with the Standing Committee, the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and members of the Provincial People's Committee; closely follow the Resolution of the National Party Congress and the Resolution of the First Provincial Party Congress, the Action Program of the Provincial Party Committee, and complete key tasks.

Mr. Tuan added that he will continue to innovate and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management and the direction and administration of the Provincial People's Committee; maintain principles, discipline, and order, promote individual responsibility combined with promoting collective intelligence and the dynamism and creativity of each member of the Provincial People's Committee; strengthen cooperation and consensus within the Provincial People's Committee; build a Provincial People's Committee that is honest, creative, active, and serves the people; contribute to striving for Ninh Binh to become a centrally-run city by 2030.

Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, elected to hold the position of Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee to replace Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc, has just been transferred and appointed by the Secretariat to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, then elected to hold the position of Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
