In the face of that situation, coach Pep Guardiola admitted that the culture of English football has changed. He shared: "Results are important but they only come if there is an effective plan. In this country, when I was young, they always had a tradition of keeping the coach.

Nowadays, with different owners and a lot of pressure because of the huge investments, I can understand the decisions to sack them. Everyone is under a lot of pressure. Owners believe in change because they think the team can become better. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. All managers know that. If you don't get good results, you are always in danger."

Asked if he avoided being sacked by leaving the club at the right time, coach Pep Guardiola said: "I will tell you a secret, which is that we have to win games. If we don't know how to win, I will be sacked. The reason I haven't lost my job is because I have won a lot of games over the years."

In addition, coach Pep Guardiola also announced the good news about Haaland's return in the match against Southampton. He shared: "Erling has trained very well in the past two days, he will be ready to play. Physically, we have two more months to compete. We do not train too hard. The players need to sleep a lot, eat well. What we do in training, do it well, focus."

The match between Southampton and Man City takes place at 11:30 p.m. on April 8. Currently, Man City is ranked second in the Premier League table with 64 points, 8 points behind the leader Arsenal but has played one less match.
