The Party Committee and government of Nghia Do ward presented flowers and congratulated the Congress.

According to the political report of the Ward Union Executive Committee, Nghia Do Ward Union, although established less than 2 months ago, has quickly completed its apparatus and built working regulations. One of the notable results is the establishment of information connection groups between grassroots unions, and the implementation of emulation movements towards the 18th Hanoi City Union Congress.

There are currently 143 grassroots trade unions in the area, with more than 7,700 union members, operating in many fields. Many tasks are carried out promptly, especially the care and protection of workers' rights, organizing workers' conferences, negotiating and signing collective labor agreements, contributing to maintaining stable labor relations at the grassroots level.

The Congress agreed that the breakthrough and key task of the Ward Trade Union in the 2025-2030 term is to innovate the content and methods of Trade Union activities to meet the requirements in the new situation, well perform the function of caring for the lives, representing, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; build a team of trade union officials with intelligence, enthusiasm, responsibility, innovative thinking, flexibility, creativity, effectively applying digital transformation in activities, contributing to building a strong Party, government, and trade union organization, a reliable support for workers.

The ward union also set many specific targets, striving to: In the ward, at least 85% of enterprises and units with trade union organizations negotiate and sign collective labor agreements according to the provisions of law. 100% of union members with difficult circumstances are cared for and protected. Every year, the ward union has at least 1 typical project or part of work. Promote the application of information technology, digital transformation in activities, strive to have 100% of meeting documents digitized by the end of the term, 100% of meetings do not use papers.

The Congress announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and positions of officials of Nghia Do Ward Trade Union for the first time, term 2025-2030. Ms. Pham Thi Lam Anh was appointed as Chairwoman of the Ward Trade Union.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Nguyen Hong Son - Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Nghia Do ward emphasized that the success of the 1st Congress is an important milestone opening a new development stage for the Trade Union organization.

In the new term, comrade Nguyen Hong Son suggested that the ward union strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots and workers; focusing on taking good care of the material and spiritual life of union members, effectively organizing the programs "Tet Sum Vay", "Union Welfare", "Union Warm Housing"..., creating trust and long-term attachment between union members and the organization.

At the same time, the Ward Union improves the quality of union staff - a decisive factor in operational efficiency; builds a team of workers, civil servants and laborers with strong political will, industrial style, labor discipline, professional capacity, enthusiasm and the ability to dialogue and negotiate equally with employers, meeting the requirements of the digital transformation period...
