Vietnam women's team won 7-0 against Malaysia
"The men's team faced defeat. The women's team at the SEA Games suffered a heavy defeat against the Vietnamese women's team.
Malaysian football has not met the expectations of fans," Malaysian account Jaidi Bensali commented on the Football Association of Malaysia website after witnessing the country's women's team lose 0-7 to the Vietnamese women's team at Chonburi Stadium (Thailand) on the evening of December 5.

The Vietnamese women's team is of a superior level to the Malaysian women's team. This was soon proven when coach Mai Duc Chung's team quickly took a 4-0 lead over their opponents in the first half.
After the break, despite not making much effort in attacking, the Vietnamese women's team still scored 3 more goals to seal a 7-0 victory over the Malaysian women's team.
Witnessing the home team's performance, many Malaysian fans expressed disappointment.
"It's time to look at reality. How much money has been invested in women's football when the results are not commensurate. With results like this, it's better to disband the team, to avoid wasting people's money. After all, women's football is not suitable for Malaysians," commented Alam Syah Bandar.

"The Malaysian national team is about to be defeated 0-3 by the Vietnamese team. The women's football team received a 0-7 defeat, the upcoming match is between U22 Malaysia and Vietnam and no one expects a good result. So disappointing," Azmiabdullah expressed.
"The women's team should disband, to save investment budget for other more promising sports ," Eisya Zaisha suggested.
"It's better for women to stay at home and be housewives. Playing like this just wastes time and annoys viewers," added Ameerul Hakeem.
"When will we be able to beat the Vietnamese women's team? Don't the players and coaching staff feel ashamed? Vietnam just laughs when they see us play football," Muhammad Hazreen Hamiron said.
"To be fair, the level of the Thai and Vietnamese teams is very strong. It is understandable that we lost. The loss will be better for the players to continue to practice hard," Hamzi Hanif concluded.
