The contest is an opportunity to spread the good feelings of students, parents towards teachers and schools, contributing to improvingeducation , arousing the pride of each student towards the school, class and teachers.
In addition, it recognizes and honors exemplary teachers who have good jobs and achievements, actively contribute to educational innovation, and educational institutions with many innovations and creativity in teaching. From there, it encourages and motivates teachers to overcome difficulties and continue to contribute to the education sector and society.

At the launching ceremony of the contest, journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam, Editor-in-Chief of GD&TĐ Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, shared: "This writing contest is not only a literary playground, but also a meaningful journey to awaken the most genuine emotions in each of us. Through each word, each text, we will see beautiful images of teachers, of the brilliant years of student life."
The writing contest "Deep memories of teachers and school" was held starting in 2018 to honor and disseminate the experiences of homeroom teachers with good feelings, work and achievements by encouraging students, teachers, education managers and parents to write about their deep memories of homeroom teachers and homeroom work.
Each story will be a brick contributing to building a monument of gratitude and honor for teachers - those who have been and are sowing the seeds for the future of the country.
Previously, the writing contest: "Deep memories of teachers and school" in 2023 attracted over 80,000 entries. The Preliminary Jury selected 44 entries for the Final round. The Jury selected and awarded 30 prizes (2 collective prizes and 28 individual prizes).
Rules of the writing contest "Deep memories of teachers and school" in 2024
The content of the entries focuses on profound memories of teachers and school. Specifically, the works express profound impressions of teachers that the author loves and admires or the special impacts and influences of teachers on learning, perception, and changes in the author's personal life (or the author's friends and relatives).
Typical pedagogical situations and the way teachers have solved these situations that the author has encountered or experienced, demonstrating the professional capacity, creativity as well as the teachers' feelings towards students and their profession. Memories, impressions, and deep attachment to the school that the author or his friends and relatives have attended or are attending.
