On the afternoon of November 10, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province coordinated with Hoa Lu Ward and Ninh Binh Parish to organize a launching ceremony of the movement "The parish participates in environmental protection and climate change response"; at the same time, organized gift giving to families in difficult circumstances.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, the representative of Ninh Binh Parish emphasized: Nature is the common home of humanity; all living species on earth have organic relationships, closely connected to each other; humans cannot exist without nature and the environment. Therefore, protecting the environment is the responsibility of each and every person.

Recognizing the issue of environmental protection and responding to climate change is to protect the lives of all species, in recent years, Ninh Binh Parish has always accompanied the government, the Fatherland Front, and organizations at all levels in raising awareness of environmental protection for the community; carrying out environmental cleaning work around the parish; communicating and mobilizing everyone to participate in environmental protection and keeping the neighborhood clean.

In the coming time, Ninh Binh Parish will continue to guide and urge parishioners' households to seriously implement their commitments to environmental protection and climate change response; eliminate customs and living habits that pollute the environment and increase climate change; build green, clean, and beautiful parish and sub-parish facilities; coordinate with functional agencies to organize propaganda classes to improve environmental protection capacity and respond to climate change; coordinate to mobilize and call for support and contributions of material and spiritual resources from organizations and individuals to support the environmental protection program and respond to climate change.

Propaganda for parishioners to exploit and use natural resources effectively and sustainably; not to use hard-to-decompose plastic bags in daily life; build and form the habit of consuming environmentally friendly products. Propaganda to raise awareness, encourage support for green growth; increase promotion and raise awareness of the benefits of eco-labeled products and environmentally friendly products.

Strengthen propaganda and education so that parishioners understand and comply with the provisions of the law on environmental protection, raise awareness in the community; use environmentally friendly materials, dispose of waste in designated places, and preserve the street landscape. Organize humanitarian activities such as building charity houses, providing relief to people in natural disasters and floods, helping lonely elderly people, homeless children, cooking charity meals at hospitals... to share love and responsibility with society in the spirit of compassion and charity of Catholics.
