This is one of the activities in response to the Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival 2024, organized by the Hanoi People's Committee. The Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival is an annual event organized to develop and promote Hanoi tourism; and at the same time, to honor and preserve the unique cultural beauty of the traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai.

In particular, one of the most meaningful activities of the event was the awarding of scholarships and traditional Vietnamese dresses (áo dài) to 50 underprivileged female high school students in Hanoi. With the spirit of "Giving áo dài – giving love," the students not only received valuable scholarships but also had the opportunity to wear traditional áo dài, demonstrating the sharing and encouragement from the community.

The event attracted the participation of many researchers, artisans, and experts, providing an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the value of the Ao Dai in modern society.
The seminar focused on important aspects such as identifying traditional ao dai, helping to clarify the differences between historical periods and regions. “Check-in Hanoi ” Challenge : A photo contest with the aim of promoting Hanoi's scenic spots and historical relics through Ao Dai costumes, promises to attract the participation of many young people and tourists.
The Carnaval event and folk dance performance are among the most spectacular highlights of the 2024 Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival, taking place on October 5, 2024 at Thang Long Imperial Citadel.
The program is expected to have the participation of 120 delegates and 1,000 women of the capital, performing folk dances in traditional Ao Dai costumes. In addition, the event will also bring a vibrant Carnaval, showing the harmony between traditional beauty and modern spirit.
In particular, in 579 communes and wards across Hanoi, more than 70,000 people will participate in a mass performance wearing traditional Ao Dai dresses, creating a colorful and vibrant festival scene, honoring the beauty of Vietnamese women and promoting tourism in the capital city.
