The month of action on occupational safety and hygiene (OSH) in 2025 with the theme "Strengthening assessment and identification of hazards and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace". During the month of action (from May 1 to May 31), the whole province will carry out many practical response activities.

The purpose of organizing the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health is to create a positive change in awareness and sense of responsibility of all levels, sectors, enterprises and workers in improving working conditions, taking care of health and ensuring the lives of workers; continue to promote information and propaganda work on measures to prevent and control dangerous and harmful factors in the workplace, deploy the Law on Occupational Safety and Health and documents guiding its implementation to enterprises and workers.

Thereby, promoting enterprises and production and business establishments to build and perfect safe working processes and measures, reduce stress in the workplace; deploy specific action programs to prevent occupational accidents and diseases, build a safety culture in the workplace, contribute to limiting occupational accidents and diseases, ensure stability and sustainable development in production and business activities.

The whole province will carry out many activities including organizing specialized or interdisciplinary inspection and examination teams on occupational safety and health, focusing on inspection and examination of industries, occupations and fields with high risks of occupational accidents and diseases.

Guide enterprises, production and business establishments in the industry and management fields to implement legal regulations on occupational safety and health, labor hygiene standards, occupational disease prevention, and working environment monitoring, especially for small and medium enterprises, craft villages, and cooperatives.

Organize consulting, training and support activities for businesses and employees; provide guidance on developing safe working regulations and procedures; provide guidance and advice on improving working conditions; organize propaganda and training on occupational safety and hygiene for employees working in areas without labor relations.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan suggested that it is necessary to bring occupational safety and health, fire prevention and fighting in the province into more depth, substance and efficiency, with the highest goal of ensuring the safety of life and health of workers, creating a safe and sustainable working environment.

Mr. Tuan suggested strengthening state management of occupational safety and health; raising awareness of occupational safety and health; businesses and production and business establishments reviewing and promoting typical examples and effective practices, minimizing risks of unsafety.
