
The 2025 Occupational Safety and Health Action Month, themed "Strengthening the assessment and identification of hazards and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace," will see numerous practical activities taking place throughout the province during the month (from May 1st to May 31st).
The purpose of organizing the Occupational Safety and Health Action Month is to create a positive change in awareness and sense of responsibility among all levels, sectors, businesses, and workers in improving working conditions, caring for health, and ensuring the safety of workers; to continue promoting widespread information and communication on measures to prevent and control hazardous and harmful factors in the workplace; and to implement the Occupational Safety and Health Law and its guiding documents to businesses and workers.
This encourages businesses and production and business establishments to build and improve safe working processes and measures, reduce stress in the workplace; implement specific action programs to prevent occupational accidents and diseases, build a safety culture in the workplace, contributing to limiting occupational accidents and diseases, and ensuring stability and sustainable development in production and business activities.

Throughout the province, numerous activities will take place, including organizing specialized or inter-sectoral inspection teams on occupational safety and health, focusing on inspecting industries, occupations, and fields with high risks of occupational accidents and diseases.
Providing guidance to businesses and production and trading establishments under its management in implementing legal regulations on occupational safety and health, labor hygiene standards, prevention of occupational diseases, and workplace environmental monitoring, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises, craft villages, and cooperatives.
Organize consulting, training, and support activities for businesses and workers; guide the development of safety regulations and work procedures; provide guidance and advice on improving working conditions; organize safety and occupational hygiene training and awareness programs for workers in areas without formal employment relationships.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan suggested that occupational safety and health and fire prevention work in the province should be made more in-depth, substantive, and effective, with the highest goal being to ensure the safety and health of workers and create a safe and sustainable working environment.

Mr. Tuan suggested strengthening state management of occupational safety and health; raising awareness about occupational safety and health through propaganda; and encouraging businesses and production and business establishments to review and promote effective practices and minimize safety risks.
