Promoting emulation strength, building Nhan Dan Newspaper to develop comprehensively

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, emphasized: The Patriotic Emulation Congress for the period 2025-2030 of Nhan Dan Newspaper aims to summarize the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020-2025 and set out directions and tasks for the coming period. This is an opportunity to encourage all cadres, party members, reporters, editors, and workers to continue promoting the glorious tradition of the Party Newspaper, making creative efforts, and excellently completing all political tasks assigned by the Party, State, and people.

Over the past 5 years, the patriotic emulation movement of Nhan Dan Newspaper has had comprehensive, in-depth, substantial and effective development. Emulation movements have been launched widely, closely linked to the implementation of political tasks, with emulation movements launched by the Central, the Government and the Emulation Bloc of Central Party agencies, typically: "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas", "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind", "Cadres, civil servants and public employees compete to practice office culture", "Each reporter has an initiative, each thematic department has an innovation"...

Patriotic emulation is not only a slogan for action but has truly become a driving force for development, a great spiritual strength that helps Nhan Dan Newspaper successfully complete its political tasks in the period of 2020-2025. Specifically, the Newspaper has achieved outstanding results such as: timely, profound, and comprehensive propaganda of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; creating social consensus, contributing to orienting public opinion.

Many social and charity programs have had a strong influence such as "Fatherland in the Heart", "Good Morning Vietnam", "Bond Live in Vietnam", "Building Tet"... demonstrating the spirit of humanity, social responsibility and the unique mark of Nhan Dan Newspaper. Many collectives and individuals of the Newspaper were awarded Medals, Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister, Emulation Flags of the Government, along with hundreds of emulation fighters at all levels - proof of the continuous efforts and creativity of the staff, reporters, editors and workers in the entire agency.

Entering the 2025-2030 period, in the context of the country promoting the construction and development of a strong and prosperous Vietnam, aiming to become a developed, high-income country by 2045, the requirements for Nhan Dan Newspaper are increasingly higher, more comprehensive and deeper.

Comrade Que Dinh Nguyen, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Chairman of the Emulation and Reward Council of Nhan Dan Newspaper, said: Implementing the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind" with the goal of promoting the spirit of solidarity and strength of the entire political system, the whole society and the community, the agency has widely promoted the movement of joining hands for the poor in publications. In the period of 2020-2025, the Newspaper has supported compatriots affected by natural disasters, floods and supported the poor with hundreds of millions of VND; organized many donation campaigns to the Education Promotion Fund in localities for children in difficult circumstances.

Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh requested the collective and each cadre, reporter, editor, and worker in Nhan Dan Newspaper to continue to thoroughly grasp Directive No. 41-CT/TW of the Politburo, resolutions and directives of the Party and State on emulation and rewards; innovate the content and form of emulation, orient the movement towards practical, effective, in-depth goals, closely linked to the core tasks of each department and unit; strengthen the discovery, training, and replication of advanced models; attach importance to timely, fair, transparent, and substantive rewards; promote the application of digital transformation in emulation and rewards; build a professional, civilized, and effective working environment. Promote the role of each cadre, reporter, editor, and worker, uphold the spirit of responsibility, creativity, dedication, and solidarity, contributing to building the Newspaper to develop more comprehensively and modernly.
