On March 12th, information from the People's Committee of Thai Binh province indicated that the Chairman of the People's Committee, Nguyen Khac Than, had issued a document criticizing the Director of the Department of Health , Pham Quang Hoa, for delays in implementing assigned tasks.
According to this document, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee of Thai Binh province regularly pay attention to leading and directing the health sector to comprehensively implement all health-related tasks, meeting the increasingly high and diverse demands of the people in the province as well as neighboring localities.
On November 18, 2023, Thai Binh province worked with a delegation from the Ministry of Health and signed a cooperation agreement with Bach Mai Hospital.
On November 28, 2023, the province issued a document instructing the Director of the Department of Health to urgently advise on and implement the directives of the Minister of Health and provincial leaders.
"However, to date, the Department of Health has not issued a document implementing the conclusions of the Minister of Health, has not proactively and actively implemented the directives from the central and provincial authorities, and the provincial leadership in carrying out health work tasks and resolving difficulties for the sector; there is still a shortage of medicines, chemicals, supplies, and medical equipment at some public health facilities. The responsibility lies with the Director of the Department of Health," - the document stated.
In response to the delays, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province criticized the Director of the Department of Health for not proactively and comprehensively implementing the department's tasks.
At the same time, the Director of the Department of Health is requested to urgently address the existing shortcomings and report the results to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee before March 20th.
