Approved prices of 10 domestic vaccines

On December 30, Ms. Duong Thi Hong - Deputy Director of the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, said that the leaders of the Ministry of Health have just signed a decision approving the specific prices of 10 types of domestically produced vaccines using the central budget to purchase for the Expanded Immunization Program.

Accordingly, these 10 vaccines include: polio, measles, measles - rubella, rotavin (rota), tetanus - diphtheria, absorbed tetanus, diphtheria - whooping cough - tetanus, freeze-dried tuberculosis, Japanese encephalitis and hepatitis B.

Immediately after the prices of the 10 vaccines were approved, the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology worked with manufacturers to sign the earliest vaccine procurement contracts, to ensure that there are enough 10 vaccines to meet children's vaccination needs, as well as to resolve the vaccine shortage for the Expanded Immunization Program in recent times.
