On July 18, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee delegation led by Mr. Dang Minh Thong, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, surveyed the organization and operation situation in Thu Duc ward.
Secretary of the Thu Duc Ward Party Committee Mai Huu Quyet said that currently, the entire system of headquarters of agencies and units in the ward has been stabilized. Officials and civil servants have shown a sense of responsibility and dedication in their work, contributing significantly to the synchronous and smooth operation.
The Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward also held a meeting with the Party Cell Secretary, Head of the Neighborhood, Head of the Front Work Committee of 52 neighborhoods to promptly listen to the situation, thoughts and aspirations of the comrades working in the neighborhood.
Regarding the preparation for the congress, the ward has organized 5 conferences to collect comments on the draft political report; organized many activities to welcome the Thu Duc Ward Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Including activities to take care of social security policies and projects; Urban beautification projects.
Thu Duc Ward recommends that competent authorities pay attention and create conditions for part-time workers to transfer to civil servants to continue contributing and working long-term. Along with that, it is necessary to study the mechanism to increase the number of civil servants for communes and wards with a population of over 60,000 people. At the same time, it is recommended that Ho Chi Minh City soon issue the contents of decentralization and authorization so that localities can promptly address the needs of local people.
Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Dang Minh Thong highly appreciated the operation of the two-level local government apparatus in Thu Duc Ward. In particular, the ward has deployed two new models such as using robots and coordinating with the Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association to provide free legal advice to people. He requested the ward to continue promoting good models and practices to replicate in other localities.
Comrade Dang Minh Thong also suggested many contents for the Ward Party Committee to prepare for the Ward Party Congress. In particular, the congress documents must be concise and closely follow local realities.
He also requested Thu Duc Ward to focus on completing the apparatus and operations of the Public Administration Service Center; not to let administrative procedures arise when people go to do the procedures. The Ward also needs to quickly complete the personnel work for the positions; allocate delegates to attend the Party Congress at higher levels...
Director of Thu Duc Ward Public Administration Service Center Le Thuong Duy Lap said that the center has posted 360 procedures under its authority.
Since July 1, the center has received nearly 1,400 applications, of which 39% are online. Specialized departments have digitized nearly 99.8% of input documents; and digitized nearly 69% of administrative procedure results.
Regarding the assessment of service quality for people and businesses in performing administrative procedures and providing public services (on the institutional map of the National Public Service Portal), Thu Duc Ward People's Committee ranked 53/168; in which the criteria of publicity and transparency reached 18/18 points.
