At the conference, leaders of the three press agencies discussed and agreed on a plan for close, systematic and professional coordination in the coming time to continue spreading the outstanding values of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son and Kiep Bac Monument and Landscape Complex after being recognized by UNESCO.
The parties will focus on developing and implementing comprehensive, focused and key communication campaigns, reflecting the drastic participation of localities in heritage management in accordance with legal regulations and the UNESCO Convention on the Protection of Cultural Heritage. The goal is to both preserve traditional values intact and promote values creatively and harmoniously in the context of sustainable development, turning heritage into an important endogenous resource, contributing to building an advanced culture with strong national identity and creating momentum for socio -economic development.
In addition, the leaders of the three local press agencies also agreed to increase support for information on cultural, artistic and sports events related to the heritage complex; proactively produce diverse, high-quality press products that are attractive in both content and form. Thereby, arousing the sense of responsibility and cooperation of the community in preserving and promoting the value of heritage, while strongly promoting it to the international public, contributing to stimulating tourism demand.
Previously, on July 12, 2025, at the 47th Session of the World Heritage Committee (UNESCO) held in Paris, France, the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex in Quang Ninh Province, Bac Ninh Province and Hai Phong City was recognized as a World Cultural Heritage. This is the second inter-provincial heritage in Vietnam, after the World Natural Heritage of Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Archipelago.
