
The Vietnam Talent Award is jointly organized by the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education and the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group ( VNPT ) with the initial goal of discovering and honoring talents in the field of information technology in Vietnam. After 20 years of operation with 18 awards, the Award has attracted more than 7,500 authors and groups of authors, received more than 3,500 products and scientific works to compete and honored more than 210 typical works, with over 50 products commercialized, present in the regional and international markets.
The 2025 Award has a professional orientation focusing on implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 193/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of special mechanisms and policies to create breakthroughs in science , technology, innovation and national digital transformation development; implementing "Green Learning Promotion", promoting lifelong learning, encouraging learning, encouraging talents, and building a learning society in the new development stage of the country.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 21 prizes to outstanding authors and groups of authors; including 9 prizes in the field of Digital Technology, 4 prizes in the field of Medicine and Pharmacy, 1 Creative Youth prize, 2 Dedication prizes, 5 Encouragement of Learning - Self-study to become successful awards.
This year's 2 Dedication Awards were presented to Labor Hero Nguyen Quang Mau, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dat Viet Ceramics Joint Stock Company, who turned Vietnamese clay into cultural export products, transformed tradition into technology, transformed labor into art, and People's Teacher Nguyen Thi Hien, founder of Doan Thi Diem School, a symbol of humanistic education, where students grow up with knowledge and compassion.
The Dedication Award is a special award category, introduced for the first time in the categories of the Vietnam Talent Awards. The Dedication Award aims to honor scientists, veteran teachers, leading experts, those who have spent their entire lives researching and tirelessly contributing, not only laying the foundation bricks, inspiring future generations, but also being shining examples in community activities, devoting all their heart to the cause of promoting learning, promoting talents, and joining hands to build a learning society. Their contributions may not always be present in a specific product, but have become a legacy, a common asset, spreading good values throughout society.
