Members of the on-site fire prevention and fighting team have been trained in basic skills; proficiently operate on-site fire fighting equipment. The management board has developed and mastered the fire prevention and fighting plan.
Through the public address system, fire prevention information is regularly disseminated, advising people not to buy, sell, transport, or store firecrackers. If discovered, people should report it immediately so that the management board can inform the Thanh Binh Ward Police to handle the situation promptly.
Hoi Do Market is planned with the scale of a level I market, located between 4 major roads: Nguyen Van Linh, Pham Hung, Hoang Quoc Viet and Do Quang. The entire market is about 14,700 m2 wide, with about 180 kiosks and shops outside.
"Although it is a large market, the potential fire risk of the goods sold is not high. The market only has a few clothing and herbal medicine stores... However, fire prevention here has never been neglected. 120 mini fire extinguishers and large fire extinguishers with trolleys are regularly checked for valves and hoses, placed in places that are easy to observe, easy to get and can be operated immediately. This issue at Hoi Do market is also inspected by Thanh Binh Ward People's Committee. The on-site fire fighting team of the market operates quite orderly. This is an important basis for fire prevention, especially before, during and after Tet, not only at Hoi Do market but anywhere else.
