Women of Hoa Tien commune give livelihoods to 8 members and support people affected by storms and floods

DNO - On the morning of October 10, the Women's Union of Hoa Tien commune organized a celebration of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025) and the 15th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20).

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the patriotic tradition of Vietnamese women, affirmed the maturity and development of the organization and women's movement that created an exciting and competitive atmosphere among cadres and women's union members of Hoa Tien commune to achieve achievements to welcome the 1st City Women's Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

After the two-level government model came into operation, the Standing Committee of the Women's Union of Hoa Tien commune quickly consolidated its organizational structure, continued to coordinate with the local government to effectively implement social security work. The Union has operated effectively in supporting women to develop their family economy , escape poverty, have a stable income, and contribute to achieving one of the goals of gender equality.

On this occasion, the Women's Union of Hoa Tien commune also presented livelihoods including plant and animal seeds to 8 poor and disadvantaged women's households with a total value of 50 million VND.

Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, 22 women's associations of Hoa Tien commune joined hands to donate more than 11 million VND to support people in the provinces affected by storm No. 10.

At the ceremony, the Women's Union of Hoa Tien commune awarded the "For the Development of Vietnamese Women" Medal to 3 individuals with outstanding achievements; awarded prizes to 3 collectives and 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in participating in the online contest to learn about the Resolution of the Party Committee of Hoa Tien commune for the first time, term 2025 - 2030.
