Enhancing information and communication capacity from the grassroots

Strengthening from the base

Thanh Khe Ward has just organized a training conference for the team of reporters, grassroots propagandists and social opinion collaborators in 2025 with the participation of more than 400 delegates.

At the conference, the organizers presented the following topics: oral propaganda skills; identifying and handling bad and toxic information on cyberspace; understanding the characteristics and signs of identifying false and distorted information; information analysis and verification skills; and the process of reflecting and fighting in accordance with local regulations and practices.

Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee Le Van Cuong said that the locality currently pays special attention to promoting the role of staff in residential areas, especially in information and propaganda work. The ward regularly organizes training courses for grassroots staff on information provision skills and orienting public opinion through periodic activities in residential areas.

In addition, provide a system of official information pages such as fanpage "Thanh Khe New Day", Zalo "Thanh Khe Ward Electronic Government"... At the same time, guide people to establish and use Zalo groups of each residential group and other related groups. Thereby, important information of the ward is conveyed quickly, promptly and effectively to the people.

Since operating the two-level local government, the People's Committee of Thang An commune has focused on strengthening the Community Digital Technology Team and establishing volunteer teams to support people in the process of carrying out administrative procedures.

In addition, the Commune People's Committee organized training classes to introduce AI tools to support work. The Steering Committee for Science , Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation Development (Steering Committee 57) of Thang An Commune has deployed 19 computers for 19 village cultural houses, serving the work at the grassroots level and creating conditions for people to carry out administrative procedures right in the village.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thang An Commune, said that in the coming time, the locality will step up guidance for people to use the city's smart applications. At the same time, it will build a sales system in the electronic environment, form a page to introduce and consume local agricultural products, OCOP products of Thang An Commune, and gradually promote them widely on digital platforms.

The locality also encourages the application of AI tools in the production and product development process. In addition, the Commune People's Committee will develop a plan to digitize data of business registration households, fully update related changes according to management requirements, to serve the management and policy planning work more accurately and promptly.

Diversified activities

In recent times, the Women's Union of Tam Anh commune has focused on innovating communication methods, effectively applying digital technology in union activities, contributing to improving the capacity to access information for cadres and female members in the commune.

Accordingly, the association maintains a Facebook page and Zalo groups in each village to quickly share information on the Party and State's policies and guidelines; knowledge of law, gender equality, skills to prevent domestic violence... The Commune Women's Union also coordinates to organize propaganda and training on network safety and security skills for more than 100 female members to raise awareness and be more proactive in behavior in cyberspace.

Chairwoman of the Tam Anh Commune Women's Union - Tran Thi Minh Tuyen shared that thanks to support with digital knowledge, many women boldly promote products and agricultural products through social networks, contributing to increasing family income. Some small models such as clean food, lemongrass essential oil, cordyceps mushrooms... have initially found stable output thanks to communication on digital platforms.

Meanwhile, Da Nang youth have organized "Community Digital Technology Teams" to guide people in installing and activating VNeID, remote digital signatures, cashless payments, electronic health books, etc., contributing to spreading the spirit of pioneering youth in digital transformation.

The City Youth Union and the City Youth Union also regularly coordinate to implement activities to support people in accessing and using digital utilities, gradually forming the habit of applying technology in handling administrative procedures and daily activities. The teams are deployed to support people in using the Danang Smart City application; integrating health insurance cards and driver's licenses into the VNeID application, integrating electronic health books; installing and using cashless payment applications...
