Linh Nam Ward: "Green - Clean - Beautiful Meeting House" - A project of the people's hearts

Arousing people's strength to join hands with skillful mass mobilization

Immediately after the Linh Nam Ward Party Committee launched the "Green - Clean - Beautiful Meeting House" contest in 2025, 10 residential group Party cells in the area enthusiastically responded with the active participation of the people. Each person contributed their efforts, labor, and money so that each cultural house is a common achievement and the pride of each residential group.

Taking place from October 22 to December 22, 2025, the "Green - Clean - Beautiful Meeting House" contest in Linh Nam ward was scored with a total score of 100, with 7 criteria, including: General landscape, environmental sanitation (30 points); arrangement and decoration inside the meeting house (20 points); trees, flowers, miniature landscape, lighting (15 points); signs, slogans, billboards, bulletin boards (15 points); participation and contribution of cadres, party members and people (10 points); sustainability and environmental friendliness (5 points); bonus points (5 points).

Accordingly, each residential group party cell registers 01 meeting house to participate in the contest. In which, the party cells organize the renovation, report the results, send before and after renovation photos, and model descriptions to the contest Organizing Committee. The photos will be assigned voting codes and posted on fanpages for cadres, party members and people to vote.

The Organizing Committee will conduct 2 rounds of judging. The Jury will base on the voting results and the Jury's scoring criteria to give the official results. It is expected that the ward will award the contest at the end of December 2025.

Dang Thi Thanh Binh, Deputy Secretary of the Linh Nam Ward Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, said: The contest not only creates a spacious, bright, green, clean and beautiful landscape at the meeting houses of residential groups, contributing to building a civilized, clean and friendly living environment, but more importantly, it arouses community responsibility and participation of all people.

Not only scoring the meeting house, the Contest also evaluates the criteria of the impact on the surrounding area, such as the cleanliness and beauty of the village roads and alleys. The Jury will monitor each week and update the participation of the entire political system in that Party cell.

When people are the "owners" of the works

Comrade Le Hong Minh, Party Secretary of Residential Groups 23 and 24, excitedly shared: Participating in the contest, Residential Groups 23 and 24 have agreed to deploy the movement in the direction of "each citizen, each household contributes a small part to create a large Green - Clean - Beautiful space" and considers this a skillful mass mobilization work from the grassroots, skillful propaganda, skillful mobilization, skillful consensus mobilization, so that people do not only participate once but maintain it regularly and long-term.

People of Residential Group No. 6 are actively working to complete the project soon.

Relying on the people, mobilizing the people's strength, the people became the "owners" of the residential group meeting houses. Everyone met together to discuss, assess the current situation, make plans for renovation, decoration and mobilize social resources: socializing expertise in the direction that whoever has what strengths will undertake appropriate tasks to socializing resources to contribute materials and funding for implementation. Having agreed and unified on the implementation plan, the repair and renovation of residential group meeting houses "flowed smoothly". The construction progress was updated hourly by the residential groups with excitement and enthusiasm throughout the residential area.

Concerned about the deterioration of the meeting house, the people of Residential Group No. 6 were happy and immediately responded to the contest launched by the ward. Because it was in line with the wishes of both the Party Committee and the people, when called upon, the people enthusiastically responded and immediately donated 1 ton of cement, 3 trucks of yellow sand and nearly 10 million VND.

Mr. Do Tien Dua, 79 years old Party member, Party Cell 20, 21, 22 expressed his excitement at contributing to the movement that was launched for the first time.

Excitedly joining the people in renovating the meeting house, Mr. Do Tien Dua, a 79-year-old Party member of Party Cells 20, 21, 22, strongly supported the contest launched by the ward and said that this was the first time there was such a movement, so despite his old age and limited health, he still enthusiastically participated. "The movement is right and I have never seen a meeting house renovated so cleanly and beautifully, I feel like I am a few years younger," Mr. Dua happily said.

Deputy Head of the Party Building Committee of Linh Nam Ward, Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa, said: "The contest not only aims to decorate the meeting house, but also mobilize social resources and working days of the people. Through that, we can maintain hygiene, order and promote community spirit to participate and contribute in community activities. We hope that this movement will be increasingly expanded and developed throughout the ward."

It can be seen that the "Green - Clean - Beautiful Meeting House" contest of the Linh Nam Ward Party Committee is true to the spirit of "of the people, by the people and for the people", thus arousing the community's strength and a vibrant competitive atmosphere when joining hands to beautify the meeting house of their residential group.
