Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward thoroughly responded to people's petitions

Reporting at the conference, the People's Committee of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward said that after more than three months of operating the two-level local government model, the ward has achieved many positive results in all fields.

During the dialogue, the ward received 13 direct comments from representatives of residential areas, focusing on 8 major groups of content: Urban order, environmental sanitation, management of community activity houses, issuance of land use right certificates, security and order, digital transformation, administrative reform and progress of public investment projects. Many comments reflected civil issues such as loose power lines, degraded alleys, flooding, encroached sidewalks, degraded community activity houses, polluted lakes, etc.

The leaders of the ward People's Committee directly answered and clarified each group of issues, and at the same time, clearly stated the responsibilities and the handling roadmap. Many of the contents have been handled. Specifically, the leaders of the ward People's Committee said that the ward has reviewed all 47 community activity houses, made a list of medium-term public investment for 2026 - 2030; flooded and subsided areas such as Lane 88 Tran Quy Cap, Lane 138 Kham Thien Market, Ba Mau Lake area have been directed by the city to survey and allocate capital to fix in November 2025.

Regarding environmental sanitation, the Ward People's Committee is implementing the City's Project on solid waste management, promoting propaganda, classifying waste at source, and strictly punishing acts of littering and defecating in public places.

Regarding the community house group, the Ward People's Committee affirmed that it will repair and add lighting to ensure safety, and at the same time propose to invest in new construction in the 2026 - 2030 period.

Regarding the issuance of land use right certificates, the ward has issued detailed instructions, publicized contact points, and coordinated with city departments and branches to resolve problems at 85 Ton Duc Thang Street. In the security and order group, the ward police have increased patrols at lane 178 Kham Thien Market and Ba Mau Lake area, strictly handling gatherings and violations of public order.

The content of digital transformation and administrative reform also attracted the attention of many delegates. The ward organized three guidance points at 202 Xa Dan, 221 Ton Duc Thang and Tho Quan alley; deployed a 45-day digital transformation campaign, maintained staff to directly support people, and continued to simplify procedures, make the process of handling documents transparent, and use people's satisfaction as a measure of service efficiency.

Regarding the project connecting Cho Kham Thien - Xa Dan street, the Ward People's Committee informed: The project has been approved by the city, included in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2026 - 2030, and will be implemented when funding is allocated.

Concluding the conference, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Ward People's Council Do Trong Nam acknowledged and highly appreciated the democratic spirit and responsibility of the delegates and the people. He emphasized that all opinions and recommendations were compiled, classified, and assigned to functional departments for resolution according to their authority; matters beyond the level of authority would be reported to the city for consideration.
