(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On June 18, at Division 1, Lao People's Army and Military Region 4 (Vietnam People's Army); Division 4, Division 1, Military Commands (CHQS) of Vientiane, Xay Som Bun, Hua Phan, Xieng Khouang, Bo Ly Kham Xay, Khammouane, Sa Van Na Khet, Sala Van provinces (Lao People's Army) held a joint conference in 2025. Major General Nguyen Ngoc Ha, Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 and Major General Vong Chan - Phan Chan Tha Man, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Division 1, Head of the Lao People's Army working delegation co-chaired the conference.

The functional forces of the two countries have performed well in advising and coordinating to build a strong grassroots political system at all levels from villages, hamlets to hamlet clusters, districts and provinces, contributing to helping people develop the economy , culture and society.

At the same time, the parties have coordinated well in searching, collecting, and repatriating the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Laos and implementing a number of other tasks.
