Promoting special products of the South Central region to Korean enterprises

On the afternoon of September 24, the Vietnam - Korea Business and Investment Association (VKBIA) coordinated with the Ninh Thuan Province Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center and the Department of Industry and Trade, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion of the South Central provinces to organize a conference to connect trade and export of goods between the South Central region and Korean enterprises.

The conference was attended by 29 Korean enterprises and 64 enterprises from provinces and cities in the South Central region.

At the conference, 64 businesses from the South Central region brought their typical products, especially diverse and rich agricultural, forestry and fishery products of each locality to display and promote to Korean businesses.

Enterprises from Korea have proactively exchanged information with each enterprise whose products are on display.

Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang - Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee - said that Ninh Thuan has warm and sunny weather all year round, thanks to which it has many highly unique products such as grapes, apples, green asparagus, garlic, aloe vera, seafood, salt, seaweed, sheep, goat, etc.

"The conference is expected to be an important bridge, creating favorable conditions for businesses from both sides to meet, exchange information, seek partners, sign contracts, contributing to the effective implementation of regional connectivity, promoting export activities and consumption of goods to foreign markets," said Mr. Hoang.

Mr. Tran Hai Linh, Chairman of the Vietnam - Korea Business and Investment Association, said that the potential and advantages of natural conditions along with rich products of the South Central provinces in general and Ninh Thuan in particular have many opportunities for Korean partners and enterprises to access trade connections and strengthen linkages in import and export activities.
