This work is carried out based on an assessment of human resource needs, professional capacity, and suitability with the organizational structure of the Sub-Department. As a result, the team of professional civil servants is strengthened, assigned to the right positions, contributing to improved management efficiency, disease prevention and control, and promoting the stable development of the livestock industry.
Looking ahead, the Head of the Department of Livestock and Veterinary Medicine, Do Van Chung, stated that they will continue to review, supplement, train, and develop civil servants to enhance their professional capacity and meet the requirements of state management in livestock, veterinary medicine, and food safety.
At the same time, we will closely coordinate with specialized agencies at the commune and ward levels in the allocation and arrangement of personnel to implement professional tasks such as disease surveillance, vaccination, technical guidance on livestock farming and disease prevention; ensuring that professional activities at the grassroots level are continuous, stable and effective.
In addition to focusing on strengthening human resources to meet the requirements of tasks in the field of livestock and veterinary medicine, the Sub-Department also organized 15 training courses for livestock farmers on biosafety in livestock farming and measures to prevent dangerous diseases such as lumpy skin disease, avian influenza, and African swine fever, in order to improve disease prevention capacity at the grassroots level.
