Que Anh unexpectedly leads the audience vote before the final night

(Dan Tri) - As of noon on October 24, in the Miss Popular Vote audience voting section of the Miss Grand 2024 contest, Vietnam's representative - Que Anh - unexpectedly took the lead with 29% of the votes.


It is known that the winner of this category will go straight to the final top 10. From the beginning of the contest, leading the Miss Popular Vote voting are representatives from Myanmar and Indonesia.

Que Anh entered the top 10 of Miss Popular Vote for the first time and went straight to the top position.

Representatives from Indonesia and Myanmar followed Que Anh with 27% of the votes. The next positions were held by representatives from France, Germany, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Switzerland. The results of the Miss Popular Vote will be announced on the final night.

By October 24, many sub-categories of Miss Grand International 2024 were revealed. Accordingly, the top 10 contestants performing in national costumes as voted by the audience and judges include: Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Guatemala, Brazil, England, Honduras, Ecuador, Malaysia.

The top 2 of the Country's of the Year vote is a tight race between representatives from Myanmar and Thailand. The winner of this category will go straight to the final top 20.

One day before the final round of Miss Grand International 2024, Vietnam's representative - Que Anh - had certain achievements in the contest such as: Top 10 contestants in swimsuit performance voted by the audience, top 5 contestants in national costume performance voted by the audience, top 14 talented contestants, top 14 voted for Country's power of the Year.

In the semi-final round on October 22, Que Anh also had a positive performance. In the swimsuit and evening gown competitions, the Vietnamese representative received compliments from domestic audiences for her confidence and effort.

Vo Le Que Anh was crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 in August. The beauty born in 2001 was the runner-up of Hue University 2020, entered the top 40 of Miss Vietnam 2020, and the first runner-up of Da Nang Tourism 2022. She graduated from the Korean Language and Culture major at Hue University.

The Vietnamese representative with the best achievement at the Miss Grand International beauty pageant is Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien. She was crowned Miss in the 2021 season.

The Miss Grand 2024 pageant started in early March and is about to come to an end. The final will take place on October 25 in Bangkok (Thailand). Recently, this pageant has experienced many controversies such as: Changing the venue from Cambodia to Thailand, 3 beauties announced their withdrawal from the contest.
