On Apple's online store, the company has removed information about these four products. This is a familiar strategy for Apple every time a new iPhone is released, aiming to "clear the way" for the upcoming iPhone 17 generation.

The strategy of discontinuing older products is considered appropriate, helping Apple "clean up" its product range in the market. Keeping too many models could make it difficult for users to choose.
Furthermore, if the older models continue to be sold at lower prices, they could become direct competitors to the newly launched iPhones themselves.
Although Apple has removed the information about these four models from its website, they are still being sold at authorized Apple retailers in Vietnam. However, these devices may soon be out of stock within the next few months.
One year after its launch, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is being offered at a price of 29.7 million VND for the 256GB version. The iPhone 16 Pro is priced at 24.7 million VND for the 128GB version.
Speaking with a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper, representatives from several large retail chains stated that the iPhone 16 Pro Max remains the most popular version among Vietnamese users in the entire iPhone 16 product line. Furthermore, this device currently generates the highest revenue across all iPhone product categories.

Besides the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, Apple also discontinued two other product lines: the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. These two devices were priced at approximately 15 million VND and 18.6 million VND respectively for the 128GB versions.
These two products have had relatively good sales in the Vietnamese market. Some experts predict that Apple will likely continue to sell these devices in Vietnam, in order to diversify the company's product range.
In fact, the discontinuation of a product doesn't mean the device will disappear completely from the market. Previously, Apple also stopped selling some models like the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14. However, these devices were still distributed through the company's authorized dealers in Vietnam.
