Saigon Co.op welcomes more than 100 million visitors on the occasion of Tet At Ty

On the morning of February 3 (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year), Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Nguyen Phuong and leaders of departments and branches visited and wished a Happy New Year to the staff of Saigon Co.op.

Reporting on the business results of the Lunar New Year, Mr. Le Truong Son - permanent deputy general director of the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Trading Cooperatives ( Saigon Co.op) - said that during the 8 weeks of Tet business, the entire distribution system of Saigon Co.op including Co.opmart, Co.opXtra, Co.op Food... welcomed more than 100 million visitors to visit and shop with sales reaching nearly 7,000 billion VND.

This year's Tet business season recorded growth in the online shopping channel Co.op Online, reaching 120% of the set plan. Tet gift baskets distributed by Saigon Co.op to the market through 800 direct sales points and the program Connecting Love - Tet Far and Near on the online shopping channel, had sales that far exceeded expectations, reaching 120%.

On the occasion of Tet At Ty 2025, Saigon Co.op organized nearly 200 mobile sales trips to bring price-stabilized goods to serve industrial parks - export processing zones and remote areas.

Saigon Co.op also coordinated with agencies, departments and organizations to bring Tet to soldiers of Cam Ranh Naval Region 4 Brigade in the program "Bringing love to the sea and islands"; together with the Red Cross Association, organized "Zero-VND Tet Market" to give more than 8,000 Tet gifts to policy families with a budget of more than 2.8 billion VND; "The 3rd Happy Bus" rolled out before New Year's Eve, bringing 900 workers from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi back to their hometowns to celebrate Tet in 30 provinces and cities nationwide.

In addition, Saigon Co.op actively carries out gratitude work: visiting and giving gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers; supporting Tet programs of agencies, unions and social charities...
