The Vietnamese women's football team is only one match away from winning the 32nd SEA Games championship. The golden girls of Vietnamese football will meet Myanmar in the final. This is the opponent we defeated 3-1 in the group stage, so coach Mai Duc Chung and his team have many advantages and confidence in this match.
Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan encouraged the women's football team
Before the match took place, President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Tran Quoc Tuan visited and encouraged the women's football team this morning at the Phnom Penh hotel.
Mr. Tuan expressed: "The important thing is that we must be well prepared both physically and mentally, strictly following the tactics of the coaching staff. I wish the whole team victory to make history with the 4th consecutive SEA Games women's football gold medal. However, football often has surprises, so the whole team is confident in entering the game but must be careful not to underestimate the opponent."
On behalf of the coaching staff and players, head coach Mai Duc Chung thanked the VFF leadership for always paying attention and timely encouragement to the women's team. In addition to the support of fans, the great attention and investment of the VFF in the women's team through domestic and foreign training and concentration plans has created motivation as well as a sense of responsibility for the whole team towards the set goals. "The women's team will continue to do their best to complete the task in the next match," coach Mai Duc Chung affirmed.
Captain Huynh Nhu determined to win SEA Games 32
Captain Huynh Nhu also expressed her determination: "The whole team is very determined to win tomorrow's match. We all hope that Vietnamese women's football will go down in history. This moment is the moment of the Vietnamese women's team. Everyone here, Nhu's teammates, must be determined for the next match. Not just 4 times of championship but also 5 times, 6 times. To achieve that, this 4th time must be won."
The final match of the 32nd SEA Games women's football will take place at 7:30 pm tomorrow (May 15) at the Olympic Stadium, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and the Vietnamese women's team will have all their strongest squad, with no players missing due to injury or suspension.
