Quang Ninh students complete Math, ending the 10th grade entrance exam for non-specialized students

On the morning of June 2, more than 15,000 Quang Ninh students completed the Math exam - the last general exam subject with a time limit of 120 minutes, in essay format. Thus, the candidates taking the entrance exam for grade 10 of the 2023-2024 school year, non-specialized, have completed the exam.

The exam invigilators performed their duties and responsibilities in a cheerful and friendly manner to create a comfortable atmosphere for the candidates.

Entering the final general exam of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year, all examination councils in the province have ensured good conditions for the exam.

All the examination sites had no abnormalities in security or electricity or water problems. The examination organization continued to be well-maintained by the examination officers, following the correct and complete procedures.

Examination officers disseminate examination regulations and remind candidates about examination processes and procedures.

Leaving the exam room after the exam time ended, most candidates assessed that this year's math exam was still within students' ability like every year, with knowledge included in the curriculum and reviewed by teachers.

Sharing with reporters of the Provincial Media Center, Nguyen Hoang Phuong Anh, a candidate taking the exam at the Hon Gai High School Examination Council, said: I think the knowledge of this year's Math exam is all within the program that has been learned and reviewed, the basic questions are suitable for the students' abilities. Students with average academic ability can easily get a score of 6 or 7. However, the exam also has questions that require good academic ability to classify students.

After finishing the Math exam, many candidates were very happy and relaxed because they did well on the test.

Pham Hai Anh, taking the Math exam at Ha Long High School for the Gifted, shared: I found this year's general Math exam quite easy. Students with average ability can also complete about 70%. I did quite well and am very confident with my results. Now I will rest and take care of my health to focus on completing the specialized exam well.

Teachers, parents and candidates were happy and relieved after completing the Math exam - the last common subject of this year's 10th grade entrance exam.

According to the quick report of the provincial Department of Education and Training, 15,134 candidates took the Math exam on the morning of June 2; 128 candidates were absent. The exam attendance rate was 99.16%. There were 02 candidates, 1 at Vu Van Hieu High School Examination Council and 1 at Ngo Quyen High School Examination Council, who violated the exam regulations (bringing cell phones into the exam room).

Thus, after 3 exam sessions, the candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year, non-specialized system, have completed the exam.

Authorities were present at all exam locations, performing well their duties of ensuring security and order and traffic safety for the exam.

Candidates for Ha Long High School for the Gifted will take exams in specialized subjects in two sessions, this afternoon, June 2 and the morning of June 3.

In the afternoon of June 2, the exams will be in the following subjects: Biology, History, Geography, and English. In the morning of June 3, the exams will be in the following subjects: Math, Information Technology, Physics, Chemistry, Literature, and Chinese. The exam time is 150 minutes.
