Da Nang International Airport's international terminal said the 2025 winter flight schedule recorded a high number of scheduled flights in the next 2 months.
According to the plan, in 22 weeks from the end of October 2025 to the end of March 2026, there will be more than 21,000 flights arriving and departing at Da Nang international terminal.
In November and December 2025 alone, there will be an average of about 140 international flights per day.
The peak month is February 2026 with an average frequency of 142 trips/day, higher than the level of 120 trips/day at the end of October 2025.
The international terminal said that this occasion coincides with the Lunar New Year, so flights connecting Da Nang with South Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore, etc. have all increased dramatically.
Notably, a series of airlines increased their operating frequency during the winter season, such as Cebu Air, Eva Air, and Eastar Jet, increasing from 7 to an average of 10 flights/week; Myanmar Airways International increased from 2 to 4 flights/week; Korean Air increased from 14 to 21 flights/week; and Philippines Air increased from 3 to 7 flights/week.
Air Busan and Hong Kong Airlines alone doubled their frequency, from 7 to 14 flights/week.
According to the report, South Korea continues to be the largest market, accounting for more than 35% of total international flights to Da Nang with 11 airlines operating regularly.
According to the plan of Da Nang tourism industry, in 2026, the international tourist market is expected to reach more than 8.9 million arrivals, an increase of 17% compared to 2025.
Specifically, the Korean and Taiwanese markets will remain the same as in 2025; the Japanese and Chinese markets will increase by 5-10% over the same period; and the Indian market will increase by 10-20% over the same period.
Southeast Asian markets alone: Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore increased by 15-30% compared to the same period in 2025.

Bring international flights to Chu Lai airport
In 2026, Da Nang aims to welcome 19.5 million visitors, an increase of 12% compared to 2025; of which international visitors will reach more than 8.9 million. Revenue from accommodation, food and beverage, and tourism is expected to reach more than VND71,000 billion.
The city also plans to bring 1-2 international flights to Chu Lai airport in the near future. At the same time, maintain and increase international flights and airlines to Da Nang, connecting international passengers on domestic flights to boost passenger numbers.
