Receiving and working with the delegation, on behalf of Duc Giang General Hospital were Mr. Do Dinh Tung, Director of the Hospital, along with members of the Board of Directors and leaders of the specialized departments and divisions of the Hospital.
Duc Giang General Hospital is a Grade I hospital under the Hanoi City Department of Health, receiving 1,800-2,000 patients daily for examination and treatment. Over the years, the hospital has continuously developed, mastering and effectively implementing many advanced and modern techniques in medical examination and treatment. Notable achievements include advanced endoscopic surgeries in the fields of gastroenterology, urology, obstetrics and gynecology, and orthopedics; and high-tech techniques such as hip and knee replacement surgery, minimally invasive bone fixation surgery, and fracture treatment surgery for the elderly and children. In addition, many specialized techniques in ophthalmology and otolaryngology, such as phaco surgery and mastoiditis surgery, are routinely implemented, contributing to improved treatment quality and patient satisfaction.
During the meeting, both sides focused on exchanging and sharing professional experience and hospital management practices in a specialized manner; improving medical examination and treatment processes, enhancing the quality of medical services; applying information technology in hospital management, implementing electronic medical records, and digital transformation in healthcare. The topics discussed in depth included: the organizational model of the Intensive Care and Toxicology Department, healthcare for the elderly, rehabilitation, and the development of new technical services in the fields of laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging, and functional exploration. The delegation also visited several departments, wards, and the High-Tech Center of Duc Giang General Hospital.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nong Tuan Phong, Director of the Cao Bang Department of Health, provided an overview of the current conditions, difficulties, and limitations of the Cao Bang provincial health sector, particularly in the development of specialized techniques, high-quality human resources, and the application of information technology in hospital management. He expressed his hope that Duc Giang General Hospital would continue to share its experience, support training, transfer technology, and advise on suitable management models, contributing to helping health facilities in Cao Bang province gradually improve their professional capacity and the quality of medical examination and treatment.

This working trip is a practical activity aimed at strengthening information exchange, learning and sharing practical experiences; updating advanced hospital management models; improving medical examination and treatment processes, enhancing management quality and optimizing medical services. Through this, it contributes to building solutions to consolidate and improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, and develop specialized technical services at Cao Bang Provincial General Hospital in particular and public hospitals in the area in general, towards the goal of striving to build a hospital that meets the requirements of the tasks in accordance with Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW dated September 9, 2025 of the Politburo on some breakthrough solutions to strengthen the protection, care and improvement of people's health and Resolution No. 282/NQ-CP dated September 15, 2025 of the Government on promulgating the Government's Action Program to implement Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW.
