(Fatherland) - On the evening of December 20, the Danang Christmas - New Year Festival 2025 (Danang X'mas - New Year Festival 2025) officially opened at the Northern landscape floor, East bank of Dragon Bridge with many new and attractive cultural, artistic, tourism , and entertainment activities to serve people and tourists at the end of the year.

After the brilliant opening of the Christmas tree lighting program, the Da Nang Christmas and New Year Festival 2025 officially opened with a special variety show by professional international artists from Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area and a skillful dance performance by children to vibrant music.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City Nguyen Thi Hoai An said that 2024 is about to end with proud achievements of Da Nang tourism industry and many large-scale events organized. In order to continue diversifying tourism products, increasing the experience of people and tourists during the year-end festival season, Da Nang City is organizing the Christmas Festival - New Year Festival Da Nang 2025 for the first time.

"This year's festival takes place over 20 days with a series of rich cultural, artistic, tourism and entertainment activities on both sides of the Han River and the Dragon Bridge area. Hopefully, this event will become an annual meeting point, not only connecting the cultural life of Da Nang people with domestic and foreign friends, but also contributing to affirming Da Nang's position as an attractive destination at the end of each year," said Deputy Director of Da Nang Department of Tourism Nguyen Thi Hoai An.

Immediately after the festival opening program, the "Happy Parade with Santa Claus" activity took place at 8:00 p.m. on the same day on Bach Dang Walking Street with the participation of more than 600 professional and semi-professional dancers dressed as Santa Claus, Snow Queen and impressively decorated reindeer models pulling sleighs. Participating in the parade were Miss International 2024 - Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy and an international artist group from Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area who will interact and connect with locals and tourists.
