Festive atmosphere at Global Village in Dubai

VTV.vn - The festive atmosphere is filling the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with art programs and brilliant fireworks displays.

True to its name “Global Village”, visitors here always feel like they are “traveling around the world ” in a giant fair space with about 30 booths bearing the identities of many countries. However, during the UAE National Day celebration, the most distinctive features of the host country become the highlight, creating a vibrant festive atmosphere throughout the campus.

The four colors of the UAE flag appear everywhere, from the entrance gate, the streets to the costumes, creating a sense of pride that spreads. The stalls selling traditional goods and the local culinary experience area are always crowded with customers. At the main stage, art programs combining dance, music and typical images have led thousands of visitors on a "journey" of the proud history of the UAE - from a desert land to a modern, dynamic nation.

Salem Mohammed , a UAE resident, said: “ We have been celebrating National Day for the past month. Right now, you can hear traditional songs playing with pride. Everyone is happy.”

“Tonight there are probably people from 60 to 70 countries gathered. This is the 54th National Day of the UAE and even we – foreigners – feel very proud,” said Wasim , a foreign resident living in Dubai.

As the clock strikes 9pm, the most anticipated moment arrives: a dazzling fireworks display combined with a drone display, drawing all eyes to the Dubai sky.

At Global Village, the UAE's cultural and historical traditions are vividly recreated, leaving a deep impression on international visitors.
