In particular, the Xperia 1 VII offers a completely new smartphone shooting experience, with groundbreaking AI Camerawork and Auto Framing features, allowing for the recording of stable, frame-perfect videos even when the user takes their eyes off the screen.
New features: AI Camerawork and Auto Framing
The AI Camerawork feature supports professional video creation with stable framing, keeping the subject centered even when you move around and record moving subjects. This technology combines powerful image stabilization with posture analysis, ensuring the subject's relative position remains stable, allowing anyone to shoot sharp, professional-looking videos.

In addition, Auto Framing uses AI to recognize and automatically adjust the frame, centering the subject. When filming a moving subject, users simply point the camera at the subject, and the system will automatically track and record without needing to chase it. Auto Framing also allows for simultaneous recording of two videos: a wide shot and a close-up focusing on the subject.
The Xperia 1 VII is equipped with three rear cameras, including a new 16mm ultra-wide-angle lens with a 48MP sensor measuring 1/1.56 inches – approximately 2.1 times larger than its predecessor. This allows it to capture clear night photos comparable to full-frame cameras, with low noise and a wide dynamic range. It has minimal distortion and can take close-up shots from as little as 5cm, offering impressive macro photography capabilities.
Besides circuit design focused on sound quality, Xperia also incorporates new components that have proven effective in Walkman devices, significantly improving sound quality when using wired headphones, delivering clarity comparable to listening on a dedicated music player.
The Xperia 1 VII incorporates features that enhance accessibility when using the camera, such as providing horizontal measurement information on the screen via sound and vibration. Sony has also improved Android's 'TalkBack' feature, allowing it to read menus in order of frequency of use, helping users quickly access frequently used functions.

To enhance the display experience in bright light conditions, an additional light sensor has been integrated into the back of the Xperia 1 VII.
